WHAT IS THE SHADOWS, TREES & ODD MYSTERIES (STOM) SERIES ABOUT?
The STOM series chronicles the perilous journeys of our heroes in their quest to find the significance of the Naynab trees. Making shocking discoveries along the way, they come face-to-face with evil men, strange creatures, supernatural beings, and a dangerous fight for survival — not only of their own but indeed — of the entire world itself!

While each of the first three titles, can be read as standalone books, the story-line in the STOM series is staggered into three narratives: One about a ten-year-old boy called Oddy and his Grandpa in the story the Ghosts in the Trees, and another about three friends — Alan, Maya and Phudy, and their adventures in title the Madness Tree. Both these stories take place in the present time. The third story-line is different in that, it comprises of written accounts kept by a man — an explorer, called Rem Namdliv, who discovered strange facts and the significance of the Naynab trees in the late eighteenth century.

All three story-lines are, however, connected and upcoming titles will reveal their convergence. Inspired by nature and the incredible world we live in, the STOM series is a fantasy mystery series (the author calls it, earth-fiction), with dashes of folklore, action and bone-chilling horror, that explore the mysteries of the Naynab.

The Naynab is a species of trees that have been around for millennia.
5000 BC
The Simaws are an ancient tribe. It is believed that they discovered the secrets of a particular type of Naynab unknown to the rest of the world.
1778 AD
It’s the monsoons. The explorer Rem Namdliv spots his first Naynab outside the village of Kampoor.
1785 AD
Rem meets King Generous III of the Mountain Wolves, who tells of the One Tree Forest, the Rooted Deribur Stone Scepter, and more. He also gifts Rem a Naynab Ring.
1785 -1803 AD
Rem chronicles his bizarre encounters in a compilation of short stories in Chronicles I-III.
1803-1824 AD
Rem’s continues to record his bizarre encounters in his Chronicles IV - VI.
1946 AD
Jim save the old Naynab Tree in the Ghosts in the Trees.
1953 AD
The Watchman incident
1974 AD
The Hanging Man incident
2009 AD
Rem’s discoveries have been kept hidden for more than 200 years. The SOFARI — a secret society, for the first time, release some of his writings. This is Memo -Archive Authorization Code 713013.
2016 AD
Oddy finds Grandpa’s journal.
2017 AD
Alan, Maya, and Phudy witness strange and baffling events in the story the Madness Tree.
