Out from behind the sun, emerged large black weeds that slowly engulfed it, swallowing its mass, its warmth and with it — its light. The sky dramatically changed right before our eyes and the air turned frigid. The blue heavens turned to red as if a bloody dusk had arrived and in moments the sun was eaten, growing dimmer and dimmer until it covered the expanse before us in a hellish haze of inky reds and inkier violets...

 

The year is 1803. Rem Namdliv has spent close to two decades EXPLORING the far north-east and recording his adventures.
