SHADOWS, TREES & ODD MYSTERIES - CHRONICLE I - BIZARRE ENCOUNTERS

‘‘Stop! Stop? Oh, we cannot stop now,” screeched the man. “We must continue. We’re close… so close. If you only stayed in the forest, you’d be safe now, but you had to follow me through the woods. Now it’s your time… it’s your time to pay!”

It’s the late 1700’s. In CHRONICLE I - BIZARRE ENCOUNTERS, Rem tells of his strange first encounters with the mysteries of the Naynab in a series of accounts, notes and drawings.

SHADOWS, TREES & ODD MYSTERIES - CHRONICLE II - TALES OF AN EXPLORER

"Like a serpent swimming its way through the river, the water swooped us in arcs and bends and made several twists in direction whipping us along in the already strong undercurrents of the waters. This was no random whirlpool or any other type of whirlpool. This water was taking us somewhere."

In CHRONICLE II - TALES OF AN EXPLORER, Rem Namdliv writes about his adventures in a series of intriguing, fast-paced short stories where he and his men find themselves doing battle with strange tree-like beasts, wrestling a river and discovering that there's more to the mysteries of the Naynab than anyone ever knew before.

SHADOWS, TREES & ODD MYSTERIES -  CHRONICLE III - THE LURE

"Out from behind the sun, emerged large black roots that slowly engulfed it — swallowing its mass, its warmth and with it — its light. The sky dramatically changed right before our eyes and the air turned frigid. The blue heavens turned to red as if a bloody dusk had arrived and in moments the sun was eaten … growing dimmer and dimmer until it covered the expanse before us in a hellish haze of inky reds and inkier violets."

In CHRONICLE III, Rem learns that his experiences so far are all connected. He tells of how he and his men helped foul the plans of thieves intending to steal from the Kings of Irthika, and of other dangerous encounters… encounters that he found could not only cost him and his friends their lives… but that of the ENTIRE WORLD!

Pant reported that, at first, the length and width of the rooted ligature was, in fact, shorter and narrower than it is today, indicating that it has grown over the years (about double) — clear evidence that this root is remarkably still alive!
